CBSE results for Class 12 to be released at noon today

The Central Board of Secondary Education will announce the result for Class 12 examinations on Saturday.

The board will announce the results for all its regions at 12 noon and the candidates will be able to access the details on three websites — www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.

However, the schools will automatically get their entire schools results on email addresses already registered with the board.

“Starting this year, the CBSE will also provide Class 12 digital marksheets in DigiLocker at www.digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMSes on their mobile number registered with the CBSE,” an official statement said.

“The results will also be available via Android mobile app, DigiResults. As per previous years, the board will also be disseminating its results through IVRS also,” it added.

The second phase of tele-counselling will also commence along with the anno-uncement of the results and will continue till June 4, 2016.

“Schools under the Delhi region are advised to collect the results from the office of the respective zo-nal offices after declaration of the results. People are advised not to visit the board’s office for collection of the results,” the statement said, adding that the process of verification will be displayed on the CBSE we-bsite shortly. The CBSE exams began on March 1 and concluded on April 22.
