Sunrisers eliminated as rain plays spoilsport

Ahmedabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad were eliminated from the Champions League T20 as the second match against Brisbane Heats was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to wet out field conditions. Sunrisers finished fourth on the table with six points from four games. With Titans having played all their matches, if Trinidad beat Chennai on Wednesday, they go through. With no further play possible thanks to wet patches on the ground, T&T emerged victorious by 6 runs (D/L) method as Titans were found to be short of the par score of 159 at the end of 17 overs.The victory helped T&T climb to second spot in the table with eight points from three games.
