Batting first, India totalled 165/7 in 20 overs. Saini and Birender did the bulk of the scoring, while Jitender Kumar added 23.
Mohammad Setu picked up 3/23 for Bangladesh.
In reply, Bangladesh were restricted to 100/8 in 20 overs.
In the day’s second game, Sri Lanka defeated Nepal by 109 runs. Half centuries from Rajith Ashoka and Laniyu saw Sri Lanka raise 217/6.
Chasing, Nepal could only manage 108/8.
