Kiss of shame

Karnataka CM M. Siddaramaiah finds himself in the middle of a storm on the social media after he was kissed by a supporter, newly-elected taluk panchayat member Sandhya Girija, at Bengaluru Palace. People are discussing the propriety of the act, with some saying Ms Girija chose the wrong way to show her adoration. Though both have clarified that it was in the nature of a child showing affection for a parent, the social media is still acting scandalised. This only shows the ideological bankruptcy of those venting on the social media.
