Inspired from classic American Bobbers, the Brit motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph has unveiled a new motorcycle, the Bonneville Bobber. The new motorcycle looks quite different from its siblings and does justice to the Bobber name as it has an all-new hardtail look frame with a hidden rear suspension. It has a low stance with single adjustable seat and features smaller headlamp and chopped fenders.

Apart from the appearance, light weight and big torque are the other characteristics of a bobber. Hence, the new Triumph Bonneville Bobber gets a minimalistic bodywork with the 1,200cc 'high-torque' engine from the Bonneville T120, which has been retuned to deliver even more torque with slightly lesser power. The electronic updates along with the new dual airbox further change the way of performance delivery. The iconic Bonneville's peashooter silencers have also been replaced with new, shorter mufflers.

The single seat of the Bonneville Bobber is adjustable between two positions -- low-back and high-forward -- so one can keep it according to the requirement. The caged swingarm, flat handlebar, stainless steel strap on the battery box, bar-end mirrors and the rear mudguard loop completes the package of detailing. The fuel tank has also been reshaped to gel with the overall design of the Bobber. The hidden suspension underneath the seat is a specially designed linkage-type unit along with updated front forks which are shorter as compared to that on the Bonneville T120.

The electronic package on the Triumph Bonneville Bobber has been retained from the T120, and incorporates ABS, riding modes (Road and Rain), ride-by-wire, switchable traction control, and a torque-assist clutch. The bike will be made available in four colour options, namely Morello Red, Stunning Competition Green and Frozen Silver, and Jet Black. The new motorcycle also gets over 150 genuine accessories, including the high ‘ape hanger’ bars. The company hasn't revealed the launch date and price of the motorcycle yet, however, its market arrival can be expected soon with a price tag near that of the Bonneville T120.

aa According to the speculations, Triumph can launch the new Bonneville Bobber soon in India as well, like it has launched the recently unveiled Bonneville T100 in the country.
