Aurobindo ties up with AstraZeneca

Hyderabad, Sept. 6: Aurobindo Pharma on Monday said that it has tied up with London-based pharma giant AstraZeneca to supply solid dosage and sterile products for emerging markets.

The products fall under a broad range of important therapeutic segments such as anti-infective, cardiovascular system and central nervous system. The financial terms of deal, however, were not disclosed.

AstraZeneca is the second multinational pharma to enter into a licensing and supply agreement with Aurobindo. The first such deal was made with Pfizer for supplying generic drugs in emerging and some developed countries.
