Shrivastav is battling for life as both of his kidneys have failed and he doesn't have money for treatment.

Akshay Kumar is known for helping out those in need, as was evident when he had donated a significant amount to drought-hit farmers last year. He had also given money to army men in Delhi and also to the families of the martyrs of the recent terrorist attacks in Uri.

The actor has done it again, this time helping out a producer, Ravi Shrivastav, who had helped him get his first film 'Saugandh’. Shrivastav is battling for life at his house in Mumbai as both of his kidneys have failed and he does not have the money for treatment.

A Twitter user had shared with Akshay a link of an article detailing Shrivastav's condition.

And the superstar replied, stating that his team had already reached out to him and that he is already taken care of.

Along with helping Akshay get his first film, Shrivastav had also signed him for his own film ‘Dwarpaal’ which unfortunately got shelved. He was also a publicity designer who worked on several popular films.

With this gesture, Akshay has definitely repaid the help that Shrivastav had given him in the early days of his career.
