First she delivered a superhit with her desi girl turn in Dostana. Then Agneepath became the film to beat in January 2012. Whichever way you look at it, Priyanka Chopra has brought good tidings indeed to Dharma productions. Which makes it fairly obvious (and good business sense) for her to be their numero uno choice when it comes to future projects.

“PC and Dharma have had a great working relationship so far,” points out an eminent trade analyst. “So don’t be too surprised if you find them teaming up for another prestigious venture soon. Also, Dharma needs to make up to PC for her absence in Dostana 2.”
But Dharma isn’t making any sort of comments on projects involving Priyanka if any. “As of now, we’re busy with Student Of The Year and a few other films that are still in the under production phase. Priyanka is very much a part of the Dharma family but we aren’t working on any films with her,” says a highly placed source within the production house.
Now this is quite a departure from the statements Dharma (and honcho Karan Johar) have made about Kareena Kapoor. With Bebo enjoying undisputed Queen Bee spot in KJo’s company, does PC have a chance? Is it that long ago dispute from their Aitraaz days that’s still casting a shadow on PC’s career?
