Tina Ahuja is ready for Bollywood

It’s been talked about for a long time, but Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja is finally making her B’wood debut with Secondhand Husband. She tells us a great script was what prompted her to sign up for this project. Excerpts from our chat:

Did your father give you any advice about films or the industry To be professional, sincere and honest to your work. He told me that I need to to make sure that I give my best shot and leave the rest out.

Initially, there were reports that Salman Khan would launch you in Bollywood... No, those were just rumours. Why did you change your name from Narmada to Tina Well, Tina is the nickname my friends know me by. I decided to make it my screen name as well. What are the kind of films you grew up watching; who are your favourite stars I like watching all genres of films and I respect all the actors in the industry. I think they all have their individual charm, charisma and style.

Do you have any memories of your dad’s shoots Did you visit his sets Actually I have a lot of fun memories from my dad’s shoots. I enjoyed hanging out on the sets so much that there were times when I would bunk school to visit him during shoots.

Any star kids you are close to No, I don’t have many friends in the industry yet.
