His recent comments have left us wondering if this outrage is to gain steam for his film Killing Veerappan or if this is just Ram Gopal Varma being his usual self. The filmmaker took to Twitter to lash out at Shah Rukh Khan. Weeks after Ram Gopal Varma was trolled for stating that Rajinikanth didn’t have the looks, charm or skills to be a superstar, the director said that Shah Rukh should stop taking advice and not do roles which feature him as a dwarf or a fan or else he will soon lose his stardom to Salman Khan.

In a series of tweets, the filmmaker criticised the star for his role in Fan, and his upcoming project, helmed by Aanand L. Rai, where he is playing a dwarf. He shared, “Megastar SRK becoming ordinary fan, dwarf etc is as big a blunder as what Kamal Haasan did to lose his stardom to Rajinikanth. Kamal was as big a superstar as Rajinikanth till he started doing dwarf, fat, tall etc and as a fan I hope SRK doesn’t listen to wrong advisers. SRK must learn from mistakes of Kamal and not listen to near and dear ones who are stopping him from becoming a Mega Rajinikanth.”(sic)

The director also tweeted that while “great actors” are in abundance, being a star is a blessing and SRK shouldn’t take it for granted. He wrote, “Great actors are dime a dozen in NSD, stage etc whereas stars like SRK come blessed by God/Allah/Buddha etc, which is what SRK is not realising. Clint Eastwood super star for 30 years being himself and then is critics Hero. I don’t believe in God but as fan I pray to Allah SRK realises truth.” (sic)
