Salman Khan plays cupid on Sultan’s sets

The sets of Sultan seem to have been a very favourable place, as far as matters of the heart are concerned. And superstar Salman, who is known for his penchant for playing cupid, seems to have done the same in this case too, first for his co-star Anushka and then for his director Ali Abbas Zafar. A source close to the film says, “Love was clearly in the air during the shooting of Sultan. Anushka, who had drifted apart from cricketer Virat Kohli mended her relationship while shooting for Sultan and that was on Salman’s advice. And not just that, while the film was being made, Salman himself too became seriously involved with Romanian model, Iulia Vantur, who had only been his friend before.”

A source from the sets adds, “We don’t how much Salman and Anushka influenced one another. But being in love, they felt a closeness to one another while sharing their feelings.”

Interestingly, this is not the only love story that has brewed on the sets of the film. Sultan’s director, Ali Abbas Zafar too has apparently fallen in love during the shooting of the film and is now dating stylist and designer, Leepakshi Ellwadi. And word has it that it was once again Salman who encouraged the shy director into surrendering his heart.

“The sets of Sultan have been filled with an amazingly romantic atmosphere. With both the leads and the director blissfully in love, the film too has turned out to be a labour of love in every sense,” sighs the source from the sets.
