Rahul Dholakia to start new movie before Raees release

Rahul Dholakia will be starting to shoot for his next film, even before Raees releases. The director is currently finishing post-production work on Raees and will jump headlong into working on another movie soon.

Raees, starring Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to release on Id this year, however it was pushed to 2017. Unfortunately, the movie’s release woes continue with Hrithik Roshan-starrer Kaabil occupying the Republic Day weekend slot Raees coveted. Word is that Raees may be pushed even further, in hopes of avoiding a clash at the box office.

All this, however, has left Rahul with enough time to start working on his next. A leading studio has reportedly signed up Rahul for a new movie. A source revealed, “He will finish post-production on Raees soon; it’s almost ready. He wanted to start his next film after Raees, but will now be doing it before that. His team has already started some research work and he plans to start the casting process soon.”

Just like he signed up SRK for Raees, Rahul and the studio are keen to get a big star on board for his next too. However, it may be a while before the casting is locked.
