Looks like the production bug is causing a minor epidemic of sorts among our Bollywood beauties. Following the likes of Amisha Patel and Lara Dutta, Preity Zinta is the latest actor to turn to producing. Zinta, who has been keeping a low showbiz profile owing to her IPL commitments, is soon to make her first foray as a producer.
“Preity is in talks with her good friend, director Prem Soni,” informs a source. She had done a guest appearance in Soni’s last film Main Aur Mrs Khanna, where she also danced to a one-off song number. Looks like it’s time to return the favour.
“Zinta has been thinking of getting behind the scenes for a while now. So when Soni showed her the script of Paris that he had written himself, she instantly agreed to back the project,” the source said, adding, “She simply loved the script. She has even decided to act in her production debut and will play the female lead.”
