No love lost between Anil-Sallu

After the debacle that was Veer, director Anil Sharma seems to have parted ways with Salman Khan for good. Anil’s attitude may have something to do with the fact that he didn’t have much of a say in the film’s script. Close associates of the director also say that all is not well between Anil and Salman.
Whatever the case may be, Anil isn’t too willing to talk about the Veer episode. “I have moved on and am planning lots of interesting films. I will be announcing them formally quite soon. Veer has come and gone and I don’t want to talk about it anymore. You can draw your own conclusions,” he says.
Now that he is no longer part of the Salman camp, Anil has returned to the Deols, with whom he previously worked on Apne. The film, titled American Bhai, will go on the floors in the second half of the year and will tell the story of an NRI — Sunny Deol — settled in the US, who comes back to India for a visit.
