KJo’s got a secret regret

The wise say that our regrets usually centre on the things we haven’t done rather than the ones we have. Not so for Karan Johar. KJo may be one of the most influential filmmakers in B’town today, but there is still something in his past that he regrets: A film.
Karan revealed that among the many successful films in his stable, there is one he wishes he wasn’t associated with. “I did make a film earlier which I’m not proud of, but I won’t name it. It was perhaps the one time my instincts didn’t quite work. I don’t want to have that experience again,” KJo says.
However, the B’towner says that his instincts are usually spot-on when it comes to projects. “I can read a script and tell whether a director will make a good film or not,” KJo says. “Eventually, I should be happy with what my directors have made and not cringe from it.”
