Jacqueline inspired by gutsy Mallika

In an industry where catfights are the order of the day, Jacqueline Fernadez’s admiration for Mallika Sherawat comes as quite a surprise. The actress, who is all set for the release Murder 2, is not swayed by the comparisons being made to Mallika who starred in the original. She says, “Comparisons are bound to happen but I have always admired Mallika as an actress. It’s very brave of her to have achieved so much, considering her humble background. She was very bold to essay such uninhibited roles in an early stage of her career. She is never afraid to be her real self.”
So does this mean that we’ll see some traces of Mallika in Murder 2 as well? “I have never been inhibited as an actress. There are some crazy things I have done in the film which really helped me shine as a performer,” she says.
