Even as Tuesday’s terrorist attacks at the Istanbul airport sent shivers down the spines of people around the world, one man who is still thanking his lucky stars to have escaped death is Hrithik Rosh

Even as Tuesday’s terrorist attacks at the Istanbul airport sent shivers down the spines of people around the world, one man who is still thanking his lucky stars to have escaped death is Hrithik Roshan. The actor was on his way back to India via Istanbul after a vacation in Spain and Africa with his sons Hridhaan and Hrehaan. He took to Twitter to say how he had a close shave. Turns out he flew out just one day before the attacks. “Missed connecting flight at Istanbul n wer stuck at airport next flight ws next day, but took economy n flew out earlier. #Prayers4istanbul,”(sic) his tweet read.
His flying ‘economy’ comment didn’t go down well with tweeples and the actor got massively trolled for the same. In another tweet he later said, “Ws helped by d kindest staff at Istanbul arport hours ago. Shocking news. Innocents killed 4 religion.V must stand united against terrorism.” (sic). The attacks have so far claimed 41 lives and injured nearly 239. (At the time of going to press)
