Urvashi Rautela, the latest addition to the Masti series, Great Grand Masti, doesn’t like calling it a sex comedy. She’d rather say it’s a ‘horror comedy on the naughtier side’. The actress talks about playing a “virgin ghost” and how it’s a matter of time before she takes up a film that’s a far cry from a goofy Bollywood flick.

What was it like to romance three actors in Great Grand Masti I was thrilled about the fact that I got to romance three guys in the same film. I was in the third standard when the first film — Masti released. I never thought I’d be a part of the film’s third installment.

You play a virgin ghost in the film Yes, although I feel that a senior actress should have played the role since the character is very complex — like Kajol’s role in Gupt. I have done action, romance and comedy in the film because my director Indra Kumar had faith in me. He thinks I am very beautiful. Yes, in the film I play a virgin ghost with supernatural powers, but I know that I will also do films such as Mrityudand and Lajja some day.

Were you sceptical of acting in a sex comedy Great Grand Masti isn’t a sex comedy, it is a horror comedy — more on the naughtier side.

Who do you think is sexiest of the three men—Vivek, Riteish or Aftab I am not being diplomatic, but they are all sexy. They are also over-protective about me.

How do you react when people call you a sex symbol It’s a compliment, but none of my directors have felt this way. Riteish Deshmukh in fact told me that I have made a brave decision by doing this kind of role. Indra Kumar told me that there are not just three, but four heroes in his film.
