: Ranveer Singh time and again astonished everyone with his crazy antics or just his ‘on your face’ kind of fashion statements. It’s never ‘too much’ for Ranveer Singh. In case it wasn’t too obvious that there’s no holding him back.

Ranveer, who will soon don a rapper look in his next film, is already busy brushing up his rhyming skills as the actor delivered some amazing punches for a clothing brand. With his bling on, Ranveer dropped some cool bars in his song ‘Don’t Hold Back’.

The actor not only rapped the song but also penned it down. The 2 minute long video shows Ranveer channelizing his inner hip hopper with catchy lyrics and amazing dance moves.

In the song, we hear the actor rapping, “Live every day like it’s my aakhri or pehla, Na hoon fukra na hoon vella. Tere nehle pe hoon dehla, Beta main hoon tera guru aur tu hai mera chela. That Ranveer guy’s so crazy, haan main hoon s**la hatela. I’m a freak in this carnival, instincts of an animal. Ruthless like a cannibal, foolish and hungry all and sundry. Be warned ab batao King kaun It’s on I’m King Kong.”

Reportedly, Ranveer Singh plays the role of a street rapper in Zoya Akhtar’s next who hails from Dharavi, Mumbai. The project is rumoured to be titled ‘Gully Boy’ and is based on the lives of underground rappers from Mumbai’s ghetto, including Naezy and Divine.

To fit into the character, Ranveer, who is likes rap music, visited locality to visit the life and stories of street rappers first hand. The filmmaker spoke to few Indian underground rappers for her project.
