When did you decide to become a professional makeup artiste

Having a passion to draw and having a mom who was an art teacher inspired me to take up the art of painting faces. I started off as an ice skater and a ballet dancer, doing makeup for other artistes at that time. That’s when I found my calling.

We have been working together from the beginning of my career in Bollywood, five years ago. She is a true inspiration, and I admire her dedication and professionalism. She’s a true star in the industry. I was asked to do Fitoor, set against the beautiful backdrop of Kashmir. It’s great to see Kat in a different character and new red hairdo.

What was the brief for Katrina’s look It was modern-meets-vintage, while making it look as real as possible to fit the milieu of the film.
