Singer Arijit Singh’s public apology to Salman Khan seems to have paid off. Salman, who is not known to forgive easily, has had a change of heart this time around. Arijit’s song in Sultan (Jag Ghumiya) which the singer so desperately pleaded Salman to retain, will apparently not be dropped.

It is said that the alleged feud started at an awards function where Salman said that Arjit’s song Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2 puts him to sleep. Arjit reacted with a smirky, “Nice!” to Salman’s jibe. A source close to the development, says, “Arjit over-reacted. Salman’s anger was not directed at Arjit. He was actually angered by Mithoon (the composer of the Aashiqui 2 numbers) who had reacted rudely to Salman’s remarks.”

Now, Arijit’s song in Sultan will be a part of the film’s soundtrack after Arjit’s public apology. A source adds, “It’s not been decided whether Salman will agree to lip-sync to the song but it won’t be removed from the soundtrack.”
