Huawei P20 Pro could be getting 960fps super slo-mo video recording.

Super slo-mo may be coming to the Huawei P20 Pro.

Undoubtedly one of the Samsung Galaxy S9’s best features is the ability to capture slow-motion videos in 960fps and now users of Huawei’s P20 Pro could be in for a treat as a new report claims that with an upcoming update, the handset will be able to capture super slo-mo videos in 960 frames per second.

As per the report, Huawei appears to be adding 960 frames per second super slow motion video recording mode to the P20 Pro triple camera smartphone soon. This was noticed in the changelog of an upcoming ROM.

The Huawei P20 Pro has one of the best cameras on a smartphone with its triple lens system and probably the only thing that was lacking was the inclusion of a super slo-mo feature.

A related report by Express states that the handset has enough power to run the 960fps super slow motion video capture mode, the only thing that is required is a software update.

Like the Samsung Galaxy S9 super slow-mo mode, the P20 Pro should be able to record 960fps at a maximum of 720p.

Additionally, that there will be camera improvements centring on the zoom interface. Instead of a round icon, there will be a square which you can swipe in and out with.
