Samsung India will be the first country to launch the new Galaxy M series smartphones later this month. While we are already aware of the January 28th launch date little else is known about the handset that’s said to be inspired by millennials and designed solely in India. This has changed to an extent as the manual for the Galaxy M20 has leaked and with it, we get to know a few juicy details about the smartphone.

From the leaked manual images, we can see that the Galaxy M20 will sport the Infinity-V display and in typical Samsung fashion, the brand has not foregone the headphone jack which sits alongside the USB Type-C port. In another image, we also find the dual camera set up at the back as well as the fingerprint scanner. The volume rockers and the power button are situated on the right of the display.

The handset will have a 6.3-inch LCD display sporting a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 408 PPI. The Samsung Galaxy M20 will be kept alive by a whopping 5000mAh battery. The handset is expected to measure in at 156.4 x 74.5 x 8.8 mm and weigh 183g.

While the specs aren’t confirmed, GSMArena reports that the Samsung Galaxy M20 will be powered by an Exynos 7885 SoC that’s paired with 3GB RAM and 32 or 64GB of onboard storage. It will feature Android 8.1 Oreo while the rear cameras are said to be rated at 13MP with an F1/9 aperture and 1.12μm pixels. The secondary shooter features a 5MP sensor for depth measurement.

Samsung India is partnering with Amazon.in to bring Galaxy M smartphones to India. These smartphones will also be available on Samsung’s Online Shop as well.

The price range for the handsets isn’t yet known but should fall in the Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 price bracket.
