The iPhone X is touted as the most expensive iPhone launched so far. The smartphone stole the spotlight with its ultra-thin bezel display and FaceID. But what if you get to know that iPhone X case costs more than the actual phone?

There are users who want even more luxury, and for whom cost is not a factor. A Singapore based luxury brand, GRAY has introduced the Advent Aurora, the most expensive iPhone X case in the world and it cost much more than the actual phone itself.

Crafted from a solid block of aerospace grade titanium, the Case retails for $1,295. It is also available in Stealth, Gold and Rose Gold editions. The case’s texture is inspired by supercars and lines that express speed and power. Is it worth spending $1,295 it’s hard to say?

Titanium is the one of the strongest metal which is widely known for its properties — strength, hardness, toughness, lightness and durability. Now strength and toughness are where Titanium excels. Titanium has very high strength, five times that of ordinary steels.  A 24-carat gold version, meanwhile, can be picked up for a paltry $1,145.

Gray says the case starts as a solid block of Titanium that gets machined down into a case. Then, it's treated to give it a rainbow glow. Finally, the cases are individually numbered, like prints of art.

A case for the comparatively cheaper but similarly capable iPhone 8 is also offered $545. It is not known whether these cases support wireless charging — a feature that the new iPhones are proud to flaunt.
