ASUS launches its first VivoBook 15 X510 with Intel Optane memory

The Intel Optane memory is claimed to be a smart, adaptable system accelerator for enhancing the speed of multitasking.

The NanoEdge display of the laptop consists of thin bezels and it is a full-HD 15.6-inch panel.

ASUS has unveiled the VivoBook X510 in India which is equipped with the latest Intel Optane memory.  It runs the Windows 10 OS and is powered by the Intel Core i5 processor featuring 4GB RAM +16GB intel optane, which is total 20GB system memory, and NVIDIA GeForce MX130 graphics. ASUS VivoBook X510 incorporates HDD with 1 TB of storage space.

The NanoEdge display of the laptop consists of thin bezels and it is a full-HD 15.6-inch panel. According to ASUS, users are treated with an immersive viewing experience, owing to the 7.8mm bezel on the NanoEdge display, offering an 80 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is supported by a 178° wide-view technology, for good colours and contrast, even when viewed from sharp angles.

ASUS VivoBook 15 UX510 is said to be very portable, owing to its thin and light design. It weighs 1.7 kg and sports a sharp 19.4mm profile. The compactness and lightweight should makes it easier to carry along.

The battery of the ASUS VivoBook 15 X510 is claimed to provide 8 hours of usage on a single charge. Besides, the battery charges fast, reaching 60 per cent in 49 minutes. This has been enabled with ASUS SuperBattery technology for a 3 x longer lifespan than the standard lithium-ion cylinder batteries.

The ASUS Vivobook 15 X510 is available offline at exclusive stores and other retail outlets and it is priced at Rs. 45,990.
