For many like Vijay Bharadwaj it was first experience participating in any marathon.  The third edition was held on one of the flattest route for runners along the scenic Palm Beach Road, enabling many runners to achieve their personal best.

Kapil Dev motivated the participants with encouraging words to give in their best. Looking at the enthusiastic crowd raring to go he said, “Mumbai is a trendsetter and everyone follows Mumbai. Health is most important, wealth will follow,” said Dev while inspiring athletes to remain fit.

“We are truly humbled by the tremendous response received from the people across India. Looking at the race timings of most participants, we can conclude that most of them ran their hearts out, gave in their best and ran to win.  This re-energizes us to strive in bringing more of such sporting events to the people of this great city,” says Dhananjay Sandu, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Tridhaatu Realty & Infra Pvt.
