Kolkata: The criminal investigation department (CID) has initiated another case against former IPS officer Bharati Ghosh accusing her of having disproportionate assets. It even claimed that her wealth has been estimated 320 per cent more than her income.

A DA case under the Prevention of Corruption Act has been started against Ms Ghosh at the Kotwali police station in West Midnapore for having in possession assets disproportionate to known sources of her income.”

The case has been started on the basis of complaint lodged by an official of CID.
