Firing outside M.G. road bar, two people injured

Gurgaon: Two persons suffered injuries after they were shot and assaulted outside a bar in the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road area.

The incident occurred on Sunday night, following which two persons were arrested on Monday. More than 15 people armed with sticks and pistols assaulted Parvinder and Praveen outside the bar at Grand Mall.

They suffered bullet injuries and were admitted to Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon police PRO Ravinder Kumar said.

The incident took place after two groups clashed at a bar around 11.30 pm on Sunday. A CCTV camera installed inside the mall has captured the incident. On Sunday night, bar owner Deepak Kumar was standing with his friends Praveen Kumar and Parvinder Singh when a gang of 15 people attacked them and some of them opened fire.

Both Parvinder and Praveen were hit by a bullet each in the leg and are undergoing treatment at a hospital where their condition is said to be stable. Bar owner Deepak immediately informed the police about the incident. During probe, police identified two people and later arrested them.
