Ghazipur man stabbed to death in godown

New Delhi: A 30-year-old man was allegedly stabbed by a pointed weapon in Ghazipur on Saturday.  

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Manoj (30). They said that the deceased went to collect drinking water from a nearby godown daily.

On Saturday, when he didn’t came back after a couple of hours, his wife went out in searching for him.

As she entered the godown, she saw his body lying in a pool of blood. Frightened by the sight, she immediately called the police.

The police denied that Manoj died due to a water dispute. After preliminary investigation,  the police suspect the reason behind the deceased’s murder could be personal enmity.

Meanwhile, the police are  investigating various angles to close the case.
