Sometimes it may get annoying when everyone is already in the spirit of Christmas and it's only the first week of November, well science says you're not the Grinch for feeling this way.

Sometimes it may be too much to hear Christmas tunes all about town, from the radio to malls!

A clinical psychologist has confirmed that the holiday music is sure to drive you insane, especially for those working in retail.

Linda Blair told Sky News: "People working in the shops at Christmas have to [tune out] Christmas music, because if they don't, it really does stop you from being able to focus on anything else.

"You're simply spending all of your energy trying not to hear what you're hearing."

A YouGov/Huffington Post survey from 2015 found that over 34% of American adults did not like hearing Christmas songs in public places, with responses like “not much” and “not at all.”

So it's all good, and now you can listen to holiday music when you get in the holiday spirit!
