While life altering disorders affect people across the world, sometimes seemingly simple issues may leave people with painful ailments. Certain surgeries may not seem like a big deal but lack of precautions may cause terrible complications.

79-year-old Terestia Briones from Philippines is suffering from similar consequences five years after she underwent surgery to remove a mole on her face. The woman is now left with a tumour which is twice the size of her face and has left her in pain.

While the tumour kept growing following complications that started months after the procedure, doctors told Briones that it’s benign. But the elderly woman is not ready to have it removed surgically since she is afraid of not waking up after the operation.

The woman who begs people for money carries the tumour around and spends her money on food instead of a surgery.
