New Delhi: Verbal sparring between Congress and BJP continued for the second day on Friday over Pulwama terror attack with Congress president Rahul Gandhi calling Narendra Modi a “Prime Time Minister” for carrying on with a pre-scheduled photo shoot and filing of a documentary on the day 40 CRPF jawans were killed in a car bombing in Pulwama.

Tagging photographs of the Prime Minister from Corbett National Park for a wildlife channel, Mr Gandhi said, “Three hours after 40 jawans were martryed at Pulwama, ‘Prime Time Minister’ continued with his film shoot.”

The BJP on its part dismissed Mr Gandhi’s claim that Mr Modi attended a photo-shoot hours after the attack on February 14 as “fake news”, asserting that photographs were taken in morning.

Mr Gandhi claimed that the Prime Minister was smiling at a photo shoot in the waters on February 14 when an “ocean of pain filled the country’s heart and homes of the martyrs” after the Pulwama attack.

In a tweet with the hashtag ‘PhotoShootSarkar’, Mr Gandhi said the prime minister continued shooting for a film even three hours after the news of the terror strike came in.

At a press conference, Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari cited DD News footage to claim that Mr Modi addressed a rally in Uttarakhand at 5:10 pm over phone.   Hitting back at the Cong-ress, the BJP said the sho-ot Mr  Gandhi had  refer-red to, took place before the incident.

BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said the Pakistan tried to link the attack with the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in India and accused the TMC supremo and the Congress president of making similar comments.
