MP: Minor hangs self after being gangraped

Bhopal: A 14-year-old girl late on Friday evening committed suicide by hanging herself in her house in Madhya Pradesh village after being gang raped by three people.

The horrific incident took place in the village of Bagroda in Sagar district of the state.

According to the police, the minor girl was waylaid by three youths of the village, identified as Shahid Khan, Kareem Khan and Mubarak, while she was going to attend nature’s call in the morning and then taken to house of one of the accused where she was gang raped.

The victim’s brother had later started looking for her and heard her cries in the nearby house. He then broke into the house and found the three accused fleeing after raping her sister.

“The girl reached home and committed suicide by hanging herself”, police said. All the three accused in the gangrape case have been arrested.
