Uma Bharti: Visit RSS camps to know patriotism
Bharati said both the senior Congress leaders should have no reservation to visit RSS camps to learn patriotism.
Bhopal: Union minister and firebrand BJP leader Uma Bharti on Wednesday took a jibe at veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh and Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath for seeking evidence on February 26 airstrike by India on terror camps in Pakistan, saying, “The two leaders should visit RSS camps to understand patriotism”.
Ms Bharati said both the senior Congress leaders should have no reservation to visit RSS camps to learn patriotism. It was essential particularly for Mr Singh to go to a RSS camp to take lessons on patriotism.
She was reacting to tweets by Mr Nath and Mr Singh asking the Centre to produce evidence on the recent airstrike by IAF on the terror camp in Balakot in Pakistan. While Mr Nath sought the Centre to produce satellite images to establish the devastation caused by the airstrike, Mr Singh demanded the pictures showing the airstrike.
The Union minister for drinking water and sanitation who was in Bhopal to meet the chief minister to thrash out a solution to ongoing tussle between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh over linking of Ben and Ketwa rivers to expand irrigation in the parched Bundelkhand region in both the states, was talking to reporters here.

In a related development, Mr Singh on Wednesday took strong exception to comments by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders describing him a Pakistan supporter for demanding to produce evidence on airstrike. He dared the PM to book him under sedition charge if he committed any anti-national activity.
He was referring to a comment by the PM given during his address to a public meeting in Dhar in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday that a leader from MP was asking for evidence of airstrike which amounted to backing Pakistan.
