The #MeToo has become a simple yet powerful tool to raise voice against sexual harassment and to take a stand against it.

Eminent TV anchor and actor Reshma Pasupuleti voiced her opinion on #MeToo an online campaign that has swept the world of off its feet. The women are sharing their story of sexual-harassment or confessing that they too have fallen prey to it.

The #MeToo has become a simple yet powerful tool to raise voice against sexual harassment and to take a stand against it. Actress Reshma also shared her story and admitted in the recent interview that she too has faced sexual-harassment.

Joining the moment and standing in support of others like her Reshma said, “sexual harassment has become rampant”.  

Despite being the daughter of renowned film producer and cousin to a famous actor if she has faced this, then who knows how many more have vulnerable women must have gone through this. Though it was hard but the actress came out boldly and shared her story too, empowering many other women who have shun their voices for a long time, to come out.

“It’s everywhere not just the film industry but women are facing it in every sector,” Reshma adds.

Celebrities like Aditi Mittal, Mandana Karimi, Priyanka Bose, Kananga Mahapatra and Tanushree Dutta also have joined the movement and brought up a new awakening in the country, and shook 2018.
