Varun took to his social media and shared a heartfelt post alongside multiple photos with the cast and crew after completing a 'crazy' schedule for the upcoming film.

The 'Sui Dhaaga' star captioned the photos as, "End of a crazy sched team #kalank. This has to be the most hard working team I have ever worked with. With Kalank, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are all set to reunite for the fourth time on big screen after Student of the Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

Talking about his experience on the film and teaming up with Alia again, Varun had earlier said, “Working with Dharma is like coming back home. Kalank is very special to me because it’s my fourth collaboration with Alia Bhatt. Hopefully, we will re-create our on-screen magic once again. As far as Karan is concerned, it’s always a pleasure to work with him.”

The film is reportedly based in the 1940s and the epic drama will see Alia and Varun in a never-seen-before avatar.

Kalank is a multi-starrer film also featuring Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Kemmu in prominent roles.

Produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Kalank is slated to release on 19 April, 2019.
