Ranveer Singh to shoot for ’83 in London

The film ’83, which is based on the Indian cricket world cup win in London, has been making the right noises, even before going on floors. Now, we hear the team of ’83 is heading to the English capital for the first schedule.

A source close to the film reveals, “The first schedule will be widely shot in London, as the city is an important plot in the film. The makers are planning to shoot the entire World Cup sequence in the first schedule.”

While the makers have locked most of the cast, they are yet to find the right fit for the roles of cricketers Mohinder Amarnath, Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri, who were a part of the winning squad. The movie’s team, however, maintains that each of the players will get equal amount of screen time.
