Another film on Padmavati is in the offing. We hear that Main Hoon Padmavati, is being penned by a writer based in Rajasthan. Producer Ashok Shekhar has confirmed the news. He says, “The film will strictly be made in Hindi and Rajasthani. The lead cast will star fresh faces.”

Our source says that the plot is being pieced together from accounts of people in Rajasthan, to avoid any controversy. “The film is being developed after talking to people from Rajasthan to maintain its authenticity. The story will go on the floors from mid January next year in Rajasthan. This film will probably be made under the guidance of the people who have made a huge hue and cry about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest film.”

We need to wait and watch if this film manages to face hiccups that SLB’s did.
