After doing a bit of drama films (read: Bhoomi), Sanjay Dutt is all set to dabble with comedy again. His next will be Sanjay’s first comedy in many years since 2011. The last time he starred in a funny film was with Ajay Devgn and Kangana Ranaut in Rascals. The film turned out to be a disaster at the box office.

Sources reveal that Sanjay’s term in jail meant that he was losing out on important projects, and now he wants to do all kinds of films that he missed out on, especially comedy. A trade source explains, “Sanjay’s old friend, a music video director, called Bittu, is planning a comic caper in Mauritius with Sanju and a few other actors. The Bhoomi actor has greenlit the project. The film will said to go on floors by April,” says a trade source.
