Shraddha Kapoor is currently enjoying the success of her last release — horror-comedy Stree. And the makers of her other films are also heaving sighs of relief.

Director Amole Gupte is glad that the leading lady of his Saina Nehwal biopic is back in the reckoning, and he’s making sure that her badminton and fitness training proceeds at full steam.

“Shraddha’s recent spate of box-office duds combined with her badminton coaches’ fears regarding her form and performance led to doubts regarding the film. But the success of Stree has reinvigorated the team. The non-badminton sequences will be canned at the earliest,” a trade source reveals.

Before Stree, Shraddha had delivered back-to-back flops with Rock On 2, Ok Jannu, Half Girlfriend, and Haseena Parker. Now, she’s all set to knock it out of the park again.
