Actor Arjun Kapoor, who turned 33 on June 26, received a note from his dadi, Nirmal Kapoor, for his birthday. And like all Indian grandmothers, she didn’t forget to mention “jaldi shaadi karo” (get married soon). Sharing a picture of the cute note on Twitter, he said, “When your Dadi’s gift is a threat & request along with a bribe & a command, all rolled into one !!! #NirmalKapoor #bossgrandma (sic).”

“My dadi had written it so sweetly that I thought I should post it. My entire family wants to know when I will get married. You all (the media) have also asked me. When I have an answer to that question, I will share it with you and with my family,” he says.

The actor, however, says that he’s in no hurry to settle down. “Now is not the right time. I have my sisters – Anshula, Rhea, Janhvi and Khushi – to think about. When it’s the right time, I will do it. I believe in the institution of marriage and I will inform you all when it happens,” he says, adding, “I would not like to hide these things. When Sonam got married, you all were involved, like a family, and I hope things go on like that.”
