The 2018 Honda Dio packs a host of updates like LED Headlamps, digital instrument cluster and comes in two variants

Honda has launched the 2018 Dio in two variants - Standard and Deluxe. The standard variant is priced at Rs 51,292, while the Deluxe retails for Rs 53,292 (ex-showroom Delhi). The updated scooter is now available at Honda’s dealerships across the country.

 

As a part of the update, the 2018 Dio now comes with an LED headlamp as seen on the Honda Graziaand the Honda Activa 5G, 4-in-1 lock with seat opener switch and a front and rear (retractable) hook. In addition to all standard features, the Deluxe variant gets some exclusive features like a fully digital instrument console (with 3 Step Eco Speed Indicator & service due indicator) and golden rims. Colour options for the standard variant include Orange, Yellow, Red, Blue and Metallic Grey. The deluxe variant, on the other hand, is available in Metallic Yellow, Metallic Green, Black and Metallic Grey.

New Delhi: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. today announced availability of 2018 Dio across all dealerships. Offering more value to customers, Dio will also be available in a new deluxe variant.

Honda’s LED promise now extends to Dio with all new LED headlamp and position lamp add to the distinct bold front image of the moto-scooter. Adding convenience is a 4-in-1 lock with Seat Opener Switch, front hook and retractable rear hook. The moto-scooter is now fitted with metal muffler protector. In addition to the standard features, the deluxe variant gains a new fully digital meter (with 3 Step Eco Speed Indicator & service due indicator) for efficient riding. Adding more to the premium appeal are first in class signature gold rims and trendy colour options.

Powering the Dio is Honda’s trusted 110cc HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine with a perfect balance between mileage and power. The engine promises improved combustion, reduced friction and better cooling to bring out best performance. Customers can also get an optional mobile charging socket to charge their smartphones on the go.

Dio comes equipped with Combi Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer technology as standard. The unique equalizer in Honda’s advanced Combi Brake System (CBS) distributes braking force between front and rear wheels simultaneously, resulting in reduced braking distance & improved balance compared to conventional braking.
